idea revised GPRS Plans/Packs details for the Year 2013
idea recently revised all their GPRS plans for prepaid subscribers across India for year 2012/2013. In this latest revision idea cellular hikes all GPRS packs/plans in almost all major telecom circles including Mumbai.The most popuar Rs. 98 GPRS pack now offers only 650MB of data usage, instead of 1GB data. Similarly the other 2G GPRS data packs priced at Rs.15, Rs.39, Rs.52 are also revised and now they offer very less data compared to previous data packs. Rs.98 GPRS pack(650MB) is now also limited for 21 days instead of 30 days validity.
The very popular 1GB data pack with 30 days of validity now will cost Rs.125 and 2GB data pack will now cost Rs.149 with 30 days validity. However 2GB data pack at Rs.149 will give customer unlimited data usage @40 Kbps speed after 2GB data utilized.
It should be noted that revised GPRS tariff is not applicable for every telecom circle and old tariff will apply in those circles. To check the latest 2G GPRS tariff, idea prepaid customer can contact customer care or check latest GPRS plans on their mobile by dialing *800# or visiting official idea cellular website.
